Volunteers and members of the Community have been hard at work clearing the area around the Collins Rd. Masjid so we can have a beautiful and clean area to pray, interact and gather by the grace of Allah (SWT)

The Story So Far…

With the grace of Allah (SWT) and the continuous help of the volunteers, the project for cleaning the area (forestry, growth, landscaping) around the Collins Rd. Masjid has begun. There is a lot of work still pending, but Inshallah, it’ll get done. The volunteers have been hard at work for a long time to get it cleared so far. Still there is an additional 4 acres of land that’s waiting to be cleaned.

Approximate Cost: $1500 (Total)
Cleaning Cost (Per Day): $150

So far we have had 4 days of cleaning completed. If all goes well, inshallah, 6 more days of cleaning is required to be in good shape for the completion of this project.

We are hopeful that kind and generous sponsors will help with the completion of the project. There is $900 total pending for the project, of course. Any donation or sponsorship of $150 or up would go a long way for all of us. Of course, whatever you’re able to donate is also great.

"Those who believe, and do deeds of righteousness, and establish regular prayers and regular charity, will have their reward with their Lord. On them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve" (2:277).
